How does solar energy work?
1. Solar Panels
The solar panels comprise of photovoltaic (PV) cells. These cells convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity during the day.
The inverter converts the DC electricity into alternating current (AC) electricity.
3. Distribution Board
The AC electricity flows from the inverter to your distribution board to power your lights, appliances and equipment with solar energy.
The meter measures your electricity usages. It goes in reverse when you generate more power than you need. This surplus offsets the electricity you use at night.
5. Main Grid
Your business remains connected to the grid. You'll use that electricity at night, with your bills being offset by any excess solar energy produced during the day.
We provide our EnergyMonitor to continuously track your production and ensure that your solar energy system runs smoothly. It will notify our response teams immediately in the rare event that issues arise.
7. Tax Incentives
We assist you in applying and taking advantage of the various tax incentives that you are eligible to for using solar energy.
